Title: Picnics
Post by: oldspice on April 30, 2007, 06:27:26 pm
Why don't many shops sell single Picnic bars? The only place I ever see them is in multi packs in a few supermarkets. Perhaps they are more widely available in bigger towns and cities?

Some shops seem to sell a fairly limited selection (way too much alliteration there...) I find small newsagents are often the best bet, funnily enough.

Yes, I think you're right. Unfortunately, there are no shops on my route to work and I only get to town about once a fortnight so I don't actually go in many shops, especially small newsagents!

We have a small shop at the college that sells snacks, drinks, sandwiches etc but the only chocolate bars it sells are the very mainstream ones and, joy of joys, Fairtrade bars! No Picnics though.

I work in a little news agents, and we still sell them, however not that many. I always have to check that havent gone out of date as they sell so slowly!!! even when they are on special offer!!
