Title: Easter recipe for Bournville mud pie
Post by: easter bunny on April 08, 2007, 01:57:33 pm
Get a bar of Bournville and half the quantity of marzipan and melt in in a bowl, which is half submerged in pan of boiling water.  Blend to a paste with a wooden spoon.  Then mould it in to a block and put in fridge to set. Simple but well yummy!

Hmm, not a fan of marzipan... do you think it would work with peanut butter?

What I would do is crush a bag of Clarnico Mint Creams (the ones without chocolate on - they're a bit soft and a bit crunchy if you know what I mean) into shards and mix them with the Bornville chocolate. Set in the fridge until hard and enjoy chocolate and mint slab.
