Good moaning sitcom fans - I have a massage for you...

After 15 years off screen, Allo Allo will return for a one-off special later this year. While most of the original cast will be involved, Carmen Silvera (Madame Edith) died in 2003 - meaning we're unlikely to hear Rene's famous refrain 'you stupid woman!' again.

there bothg died a few years back

alot of people are paining this as it should be left alone!

IF it was keepings up appecnsion then there might have a better chance1

But Mary Millar, who played Rose in Keeping Up Appearances, is also dead - you can never fully recapture something in a revival. The only exception to the rule I've ever seen is The Royle Family special. smurfboy2007-03-26 00:23:18

I used to like Allo Allo but I would imagine it looks pretty dated now. I saw a repeat of Keeping Up Appearances at the weekend and that looked so dated it was not as funny as it used to be.
