Saw large bars of these in Woolies yesterday. The bar does not actually carry a description of what it is supposed to be i.e. it does not state delicious Cadbury's chocolate with a soft filling or anything like that.
-
You didn't indulge then?
Why is Harborne the only high street in the country without a Woolworths?

-
No, I didn't bother. I've heard it's very, very sweet so I wouldn't like it.
-
I saw these in Sainsbury's today but didn't buy one.
-
could it be like the old choch mouse?
-
What old choc mousse?
-
secret bar
-
I got one of these today - sorry 623, they're absolutely nothing like a Secret. They are bloody gorgeous though! The best way I can describe the filling is a chocolate cream; it's not as thick as a fondant, but it's not runny/liquid. The filling is a darker chocolate too.
I paid a rip-off 62p for a small bar at WHSmith on New Street station - they were charging 2.25 for a big slab, the thieves! I later found big slabs in Sainsbury's for 1.49.
-
Yes but you wouldn't have wanted the big slab Smurfy, not with your diet. Would you?
-
it should only cost about 45p!
-
Yes, but shops on train stations always grossly overcharge, because they know you haven't got time to go and find somewhere cheaper. I gave in and bought the small bar, but had I known Sainsbury's had them I would have waited. Curse my chocolate impatience!

Er, yes, quite right, and I didn't buy it, honestly

I'd already told you that Sainbury's had them! Ye of little faith.
-
I know, but the branch in Harborne didn't have any, and it only opened on Friday so I thought if anywhere would have new stock, they would. I went to the one in town on the off-chance.
-
OK I'll let you off. I ignored that aisle in Sainsbury's today.
-
I gave in and bought a small bar today but shared it with a friend. It was very nice - reminded me of a Galaxy egg somehow.
-
I havn't seen these in a small bar yet, only the bigger ones, I really want to try it!!
-
I got the small version from Woollies (couldn't see it anywhere else).
I agree with smurfy these are excellent (yes they're overly sweet but it's not as sickly as nestle choc for instance).
You know what I think they are.. Caramel Double Chocolate Dream.
One of my personal faves.
-
Funny you should say that; that's exactly what it reminded me of!
-
large Cadbury bars 2 for 2 in Tescos. I tried the Double Chocolate but do not really care for it. Glad the other bar I bought was Turkish!

Eastbourne has not got one either

have to go Brighton for nearest decent size one
-
I remember my nan going there years ago and complaining the only shop they didn't have was Woolworths!
-
Everywhere needs a woolworths.

The first thing I look for when i visit a town/city for the first time is an M&S! Why? I might as well stay at home!
It's funny how we need our little comforts around us!
-
I went to Hadrians Wall and Gretna Green once with my mum and we had to go all over the little villages and towns so my mum could find a Woolies first, before we could go anywhere else.
I love her a lot but it's a long way to go for a trip round a Woolworth's store. Even if it is one you've never been in before.

Finally managed to drag her to the wall but by then it was almost tea time and we had to go back to the B&B. We didn't get to Gretna Green until we were on our way back on Sunday!
Gotta love Woolies don't you?
-
Has anyone tried putting their CDM double choc in the fridge?
-
Yes, but I still don't think much of it. Give me Turkish any day.
-
I never put chocolate in the fridge.
-
I love chocolate from the fridge especially Crunchie, bounty and CDM Turkish.
