Title: Snackspot
Post by: oldspice on March 19, 2007, 07:01:22 am
Anyone checked out this link recently?

CDM Coconut Rough and Double Choc are featured and one of the reviewers is Zeddy. I am sure Zeddy was the original name of our very own Paulham/Black Knight.

I know paulham and others would like me to open up this site a bit more so that their findings can be posted but I'm not quite ready for that one yet (soon I hope, but i want to do a redesign and fix some database issues first).
I, of course, often post on snackspot Wink

I find the reviews on Snackspot are a bit hard to fathom sometimes. There seems to be too many 'in jokes and obscure references' so that the posts make no sense to me.

Some of the people on there are total sad cases. I read a review of B and Js Glastonberry ice cream once and this one bloke had written an essay on why the brownie pieces in it weren't really brownies - and another one had actually sat down and worked out how it would be cheaper to buy a big tub of raspberry ripple and stir some brownie mix into it! Get a life for God's sake!

I've never heard of snackspot, but from what you've said it doesn't sound like a friendly kind of place to relax in, not like this one.
It sounds like you'd have to be very sure of what you were talking about. I mean they're writing essays and reviews and doing research and stuff.

I'm not sure I know enough of that kind of info to fit in there.

And I don't think I'd really want to work that hard. This is supposed to be fun isn't it?

Mind you I guess each person has their own idea of what's fun.
