Title: Bournville Deeply Dark
Post by: smurfboy on March 12, 2007, 08:02:16 pm
This has been launched with virtually no publicity, which seems a bit silly - the first I'd heard about it was when I saw it in Woolies on Saturday. It all sounded so good, with 60% cocoa, and then I spotted it has COFFEE in it.

DeadDeadDead Noooooooo!

there is one without coffee though. the wrappers just red and black (coffee one is red yellow and black i think) you could try the non coffee one Smile I like the new wrappers on the smaller bars. Bournville brought something like this out about 2years ago, with a really high cocoa content. i remember trying it. It was to bitter and sickning to eat for me and i like dark chocolate.

Ah, they only had the coffee one in Woolies. I'll look out for the plain version.

Hi folks. It may be old news but I just received an email from Cadbury (why they thought I like them I cannot guess) asking if I would like a free piece of this chocolate (a piece! Oh well better than nothing I suppose).
If you haven't had the mail or tried it, here is the link:

I had a (very much reduced!) bar of Cote D'Or Truffe Noir a few days ago and I certainly regretted it.  The shakes plus the headache from hell.  Serves me right!
