Title: Lion bar here to stay?
Post by: kevvosa on February 06, 2007, 06:56:22 pm
I got a reply back from Nestle about them getting rid of Lion bars and they say this:

"Thank you for your recent enquiry via email concerning Lion bar.

We are sorry to inform you that Lion bar
multipacks and snack size have been  withdrawn from our range due to
the high cost of production and the relatively low level of sales.  We
can assure you that the decision to withdraw any product is only taken
with great reluctance as we realise that some consumers will be
disappointed.

However, we have no plans to discontinue
our sing 55g and kingsize 80g Lion bars, of which are still available
in most retail outlets throughout the UK.

We hope that this is not too
disappointing a reply and that you appreciate our position.  Thank you
once again for taking the trouble to contact us"

Listen, a chocolate bar that's older than I am is a classic as far as I'm concerned!
