They sound like Revels to me. They have caramel and Malteser, just no nougat.

My ex brother-in-law runs the firm that does most of the Mars marketing and I used to get loads of freebies but unfortunately my sister has divorced him.  I'll ask my nieces about this though as they still do promotions for him occasionally.

What, there was nothing in the settlement about allocation of Mars freebies? Sounds like your sister missed a trick there

You're right - it was a very serious omission on her part!

I would never divorce someone who could get me free chocolate. In fact I think that would be a good enough reason to marry them in the first place!

I suppose thinking about it they won't want to launch a new product until after Easter, as it might affect sales of their eggs.

Hurra they're available! I tried them today. The little "plantets" are different sizes. The nougat one is the biggest then the crispy one in the middle followed by the teeni caramel ones. About an even number of each in the bag.

The nougat "soft" is just like biting of the bottom off a mars bar
The crispy one is ok, they really need to be bigger to get a proper crispy bite.
The caramel "chewy" Is like eating the top of a mars bar.. no surprise there then. Actually they may be slightly chewier and got stuck in my teeth.

I only liked them when i threw in one of each at the same time to see what it was like. I wouldnt bother buying them again.

I had my first pack today and thought they were fantastic, unlike Revels where theres quite a few I don't like, I will definitely buy them again, think the nougat ones are my faves!!

I don't think it's meant to be.

Woolies have these - I like them. I hope they start to do them in big bags a'la Minstrels, Revels etc.

I had some today. At 47p for quite a small bag I think they're expensive but if, as Smufy hopes, they come out in bigger bags they might be better value. One small bag is not enough!  Pig

i was bitterly disappointed Cry i thought i was in for a treat but i could not taste the difference in what i was eating apart from a few were cruncy but even then they didnt taste different.... i might as well have had a normal plain barof chocolate....i think i will b sticking to revels or anything from my shop

I love the nougat ones. That is the best bit of a Mars. I think for people who cannot manage a whole Mars bar, having nibbles in this way is the ideal way to enjoy the Mars experience.

I tried a bag of Mars Planets a few weeks ago and thought they were very bland and boring.

Bet they aren't around for very long.

I heard they'd been very popular.

I tried them again, they've grown on me a bit. I still think they taste best when eating one of each at the same time so id like for them to make a mars bar with little crunchy, crispy bits in the caramel part.

I like them because you can mix them and get a different-ish taste each time. Oh I love an excuse to play with my food. LOL
They are a bit expensive though and I think I would have liked more nougat ones in my bag. But that could be because I think they're the nicest ones. Tongue
