A newsreader for East Anglia TV gave viewers a different kind of news this morning when, unaware she was on the air, she gossiped with colleagues about their sex lives during a GMTV bulletin. 'Have you phoned your wife this morning - or Jan?' she asked one. She then greeted another with 'Good morning, Mrs Shameless'. She also adjusted her bra before finally being told she was live on air.
The station concerned have dismissed the presenter's remarks as 'light-hearted banter' but have launched a full investigation into the matter.

I live in this region but missed it because I always listen to Radio 4 in the mornings and also because I am always at my desk by 8am. What time was the broadcast?
