Title: Dangerous dogs or dangerous owners?
Post by: on January 02, 2007, 09:21:11 am
This poor little girl. What a tragic, senseless loss of a young life.  No matter what your opinions are of these breeds like Pit Bulls, what parent or guardian leaves their children alone with a dog like this?  If I had a child I would not leave them alone with a Toy Poodle.

The fact is, that the people - mainly men who own Pit Bulls, Mastiffs and the like are complete t**sers.  I would get this man who owned the dog and put him alone with a spotted Hyena and see how long he lasts!  This little girl did not ask to be left alone with the dog.  She had no choice and no chance.  God bless her.

I don't think there is any need for Pit Bull Terriers to exist.  Mastiffs should just be used as guard dogs, not pets.  I draw the line with Rotweillers and Dobermanns.  Trained correctly in the right family they can make good pets - but even then, care should be taken when they are near children.

People have these hard looking dogs because they think it makes them look macho but usually they are weak t**sers with very small penises. loulou39084.6270833333

It's usually chavs who are owners of pitbulls and the like.

I really think the time has come for a ban on owning dogs like this. They are unpredictable and untrustworthy, especially around children.

It is so sad, she looked like such a happy little girl.

This sort of thing makes me so angry, I just can't find the words.

I feel so angry after watching the news and seeing that the owner of that pit bull type dog had received a police warning only 4 months ago when his dog attacked an elderly neighbour and had to be fought off with a stick. When he knew his dog had a temper what the hell was he doing having it in the house with a child.

She was so beautiful.  I was filling up at dinner.  It's so tragic.

Apparently, this owner had received several warnings about his dog's behaviour. I only wish it had been HIM that had died. Does that sound wicked?

Why do these people keep getting a break? Why do they get chance after chance when, often, their 'chances' turn out to be someone else's misfortune? There should be no chances - that dog should have been removed from his care the first time it bared its teeth at someone.

I am so angry about this.
