Title: Favourite Christmas movie?
Post by: Velvet Darkness on December 23, 2006, 12:36:54 am

I have looked through the posts and I can't find one that asks this, if there is I apologise.

I have just sat and watched my favourite Christmas movie (National Lampoons Christmas Vacation) and I wondered if you have a movie your Christmas just would not be the same without, and if you do what is it?

classic wise, you cant beat 'its a wonderful life'. lovely stuff.

for a more modern effect, 'bad santa' gets my vote every time. comic genius.

I agree that It's a Wonderful Life would be my classic weepy choice. I also enjoy something thought-provoking like the old version of A Christmas Carol.

I liked the old cartoon version.  It was quite scary.

There is no other ending - it was just a joke on The Simpsons.

Yep - Gemma Craven. I must google her to find out what else she's done. I adored Richard Chamberlain too - but think he's old enough to be my grandad

Great grandad I would say. He  was Dr Kildare in the 50s and 60s!
