Who else has noticed what good value selection boxes are this year? Everywhere I go they are buy one get one free. That's 2 each of Cadbury caramel, crunchie, flake, chocolate buttons, dairy milk and curlywurly for only £2.29 and yes I have ate the lot.

If you went and bought the chocolate seperately would it be cheaper ?
-
mmm... probably not. bout the same, give or take a few pennies?

Selection boxes are a good way of getting lots of crap chcocolate in one go.
-
I never buy selection boxes - things like Dairy Milk caramel and Crunchie are not Christmas chocolates. For Christmas you need something special.

Getting a selection box was one of the highlights of my Chirstmas when I was a small child. It was like getting a year's worth of chocolate in one go. My parents always bought me one but sometimes, a neighbour or distant relative would buy me one as well. Of course, i was restricted to one bar per day.

A bit disappointing no games on the back of selection boxes now.

I always buy the children a selection box.
I always had one when I was a child and somehow Christmas just isn't the same without one.
