Has anyone received any Christmas cards yet? We've had several. The first was given to us on October 23 with strict instructions not to open it until Chrismas week. It's from my father-in-law who has gone on a three-month trip to Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and the Far East.
He's too tight to send a card from Australia nearer to Christmas!

I have had three, all from work colleagues. I shall be sending mine abroad this weekend but the local ones I post personally on Christmas Eve!
-
I've had a few and I have posted some as I thought it would be one less thing to think about when I get back from my holiday - I don't usually post any until around the 14th. I shall hand deliver the rest at the last minute!
-
I have received 2 and posted none.

We have had a couple from family, but the children have had loads from school friends, and they've turned my kitchen table into a card making factory, so everyone is eating in the living room at the moment.
Mashed potato with glitter in it is not going down too well let me tell you.

I bet sparkly mash looks lovely on a dark coloured plate. Shame there isn't something edible to make sparkly food.

I have seen cake decorations in gold and silver, not really glittery though.
-
I hate silver balls.
-
Why is that making me laugh kev?

I don't know but I'll join in

I got a Christmas card yesterday from a friend mentioning he is now a grandad. He's 35!

He's also having a gay wedding in May! He's practically a one-man soap opera.

That's like my friend who had the commitment ceremony. He is 41 and had been married with a daughter who is now 14 and then decided to tell us he had been in a gay relationship before his marriage. His life could make an interesting film.
