Title: Cadbury’s giveaways
Post by: oldspice on November 25, 2006, 05:41:26 pm

Following along the lines of similar events, Cadbury was in Peterborough today giving our chocolate bars. There were two vans parked in the pedestrian area (Bridge Street) and there were about ten staff giving out bars of CDM in various flavours. They were giving people handfuls of the bars! I got a Turkish Delight and a Cream Egg bar. Hubby got a Bubbly, a caramel and a Fruit & Nut! These were not small treat size bars but full size individual bars!

Talk about trying to recover some public confidence after the salmonella scare!

They were doing this in Leeds too about a month back. I didnt want to queue up for any because I'm not that desperate but I wouldn't have minded a handful of cream egg bars.

Up the chocolate aisle and if you go to the soap powder aisle there is free boxes of surf but I didn't get one as it makes me itch.

I use Persil liquid.

Yes I like Persil liquid too. Some soap powders leave white marks on clothes and most of them bring me out in a rash.

I hate all powders but apparently liquid makes your washing machine smell after a while. So now I used tablets.

Daz tablets are good. Today I am drying some clothes on the radiatiors and the smell coming from the washing is lovely and fresh.

Have you tried using towels? Much safer and more environmentally friendly.

I was going to ask if it was painful.
