Title: Frankie and Jamie
Post by: oldspice on November 17, 2006, 09:06:42 pm
Is anyone else toally sickened by the current storyline in Corrie where Frankie has a passionate affair with her stepson Jamie - a lad she has cared for since he was a toddler?

Yes, I find it creepy. The actors involved aren't happy with the storyline either - they try and be diplomatic about it in interviews, but you can tell.

Speaking of Blanche does anyone have any more funny quotes from her?

When Blanche thought she was dying: 'I thought I saw your father, may he rest in peace. Well, at least until I get up there...'

I think the Jamie and Frankie storyline is dragging on and a load of rubbish.

It still pi**es all over anything Eastenders is doing at the mo. That show is a shadow of its former self. loulou39039.8709490741

Eastenders is depressing but there's a cheerful episode coming when Pauline Fowler dies in a house fire. Yay.

Does she die?

i used to enjoy EastEnders years ago when it was a gritty family soap based on gritty families. Then they introduced Walford's answer to the Krays and started to cast far too many young people and it all went to the wall.

Who will inherit her cardies? Will Martin want them? Perhaps Pauline Wills them to Dot.

There's a twist in the plot - Pauline survives the fire, but she does die at a later date...

In the New Year I think. Corrie are losing a lot of big characters in the coming months, I hope it doesn't suffer, or bring in too many new faces at once to replace them. I think they should build up Joanne's character, she's coming along nicely. Michelle has potential too.

I'm just watching last night's episode and I feel sick. Jamie used to even call Frankie 'mum' in their early days!

Tonights episode was ridiculous. What can Frankie seriously see in Jamie.

I didn't see tonight's episodes as I was working until 9pm but I will try and catch the repeast on Sunday. I don't like this storyline at all.
