Title: Word coincidences

Has anyone ever been reading a book or newspaper and the television or rasdio is on in the background.  You look at a word and at that precise moment the announcer says the same word?  Spooky.n

Not quite the same, but my friend in Australia emailed me a few days ago to say she'd just had a disastrous holiday on an island that I'd never heard of and I thought I'd look it up later.  A few minutes afterwards I was reading the newspaper and there was an article about the same island.

Last week GC told me about a tagrine and the next day I seen one on Ready Steady Cook.
