Last night an old thread, which I couldn't open, reappeared and it said the forum's most recent post was in that thread (even though there had been no replies for two months). This morning Cherry must have been able to get into it as she's replied, but now it's locked again. It's also shrunk, and the name of the topic starter has changed from Kevvosa to me!

in the Thread 'Whos the Daddy ? Dairy Milk or Galaxy' i get told..

"Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to posts in this forum"

is that a..'by invitation only' Thread ?

last night when i was here it said the last post was by Forum Administrator on the main page..but when i looked there wasn't a post..maybe someone was cleaning up ??

The chat's still constantly reloading as well.  Looks like someone's dodgy avatar again.

Hello all, Yes the server was rather flakey over the last couple of days (and was really really bad today). Hopefully it's fixed now (the disks are re-mirroring but won't be finished for another 6 or 7 hours - can't be sure till that finishes successfully).

So with any luck all the weirdness with the web site will be over for a while. Apologies for the loss of service (stayed at work till 20:15 to get it sorted in the end  - although that's coz there's about 20 other web sites on this server not just this happy place).

I don't like the allusion to the dodgy Avatar.  The website has suffered a negative infinity loop.  Chocadmin's little doodleflip should put it right or something.

Yes I noticed that; the post was dated 2004!

Thanks Chodadmin for sorting everything out, it looks fine now  although still can't read that "who's the daddy" thread.

Funny but one of our main servers at work died yesterday, a power supply failure. Luckily it was caught in time (before it caught fire) but it was smelling decidedly burnt.
