I was looking outside last night at about 18:00 when about a dozen bright red lights were drifting across the sky. They were all going across the sky in the same direction, what appeared to be fairly slowly but it was hard to work out how far away they were. Through binoculars they appeared to be like red balls. It was impossible to say how big they were. Although they were all at slightly different heights they maintained the same height and didn't drift up like balloons. Does anyone have any idea what these might have been? I'm totally bamboozled.

Arent there certain types of fireworks that can drift along for certain amounts of time? I've seen them before. Since last night was Nov 5th I'd say it's firework related. What happened to them in the end?
