Today is the 20th anniversary of the BBC first showing Neighbours!

I liked it in the old days but haven't kept up with it for years. It all got too silly. Much could be said of Home & Away.

As some of you know, I write for a Neighbours website. Like Oldspice, I think its best days are over, and I mainly write nostalgic pieces. I watch again now and it's better than it has been for years, but back when I was a kid I equated missing an episode with losing a limb!

I used to watch it but it's all got too silly. Like most soaps.

we had the 20th Anversay eposide last year as we have caught up with the 18 month gap

Yes, it used to be 18 months ahead, but it goes off air for around four - seven weeks in the summer in Australia. Because the UK doesn't have this gap, we've caught up and are now only around three months behind.
