Oh yeah Ive seen these before

Samsung Electronics

Caller:          "Can you give me the telephone number for Jack?"

Operator:       "I'm sorry, sir, I don't understand who you are talking about".

Caller:         "On page 1, section 5, of the user guide it clearly states that I need to unplug the fax machine from the AC

wall socket     and   telephone Jack before cleaning. Now, can you give me the number for Jack?"

Operator:      "I think you mean the telephone point on the wall".

I used to work in an auction catalogue company, and we got a call once for someone asking for a set of plans from a previous auction. It was explained that after an auction, we burnt plans to CDs. 'What, you just burn them? That's disgraceful!' was the indignant reply. Try as he might, my poor colleague just couldn't get him to understand what burning something to a CD meant, and he kept on protesting about the irresponsibility of burning the plans

I work in a call centre, but oddly I spend alot of my time responding to letters. I once had a letter from a bloke who said he was the king of england and wished us to call him your majesty when we referred to him.

I'd love to be someone who responds to customer letters. I got a letter from Aunt Bessie once when I wrote to the company who makes them. She said that 'she' was 'really' Aunt Bessie.
