Today, I foudn the council had been busy all day Yesturday - Sunday

I have fourn ther ehave put up the TOWN Xmas light
it' not even NOVEMBER!

They don't even take them down in Birmingham now. It's so much work, they leave them up all year and just re-light them at Christmas.

there should add a Summer theme to them so there can be used instead of the xmas light

A couple of years ago, our local shopping centre introduced some 'Easter trees'. They looked so much like Christmas trees and provoked so much scorn that they took them down and re-introduced them at Christmas with a bit of tinsel wrapped round them!

I used to love Xmas lights as a kiddie but now I hate them. They are so tacky and unoriginal these days. When I lived in Shropshire, I remember Shrewsbury did lovely Xmas lights - there was one shaped like a crown that went above a whole street.

We get great ones where I live as they're all themed around jewellery.
