This bar comes up a lot. We think it was made by Nestle, but some say Mars (Masterfoods). It was discontinued in 1996. More info in the FAQ section.

"It's good but it's not right"! Tried to join the forum last year but for some reason could only view so had to keep my big mouth shut! I'm trying to make up for lost time! Was still an avid voyeur though!

The Secret Chocolate bar was made by Nestlé in the 80's and 90's and was one of the most delicious treats ever. It had a sort of bird's nest chocolate outer with a creamy mousse center similar to the inside of a Walnut Whip. They came in a white protective card sleeve and apparently had a gold wrapper with the word Secret written on it in purple.

The clip further up this thread confirms they were made by Rowntree, now owned by Nestle.
Thanks tried cybercandy unfortunately there out of stock Do you remember caramac bars
Ahh that sucks have you tried gold bar biscuits like caramac chocolate but biscuit in middle
Me too me thinks you can still get them hard to find though
were Secret bars those ones with the strawberry/rasperry flavoured gunk in the middle of chocolate segments? If so, they were to die for. I thought they were made by Cadbury too. Show's you how your mind plays tricks!
No, Secret Bars had a soft, moussy filling, not fruit flavoured. They were made by Nestle.
I don't think it would even be legal to have two bars with the same name on sale at the same time.
Maybe it wouldn't matter if they kept it Secret.
I think there may have once been a bar called Top Secret. It just seems to ring a bell. I think it was about the same size and shape as an Old Jamaica bar.
I think there may have once been a bar called the chocfudgiemarzipan. Anyone remember it?
Aren't you getting confused with caramellafudgiemarzipan?
