What has he actually done to suggest he'd be a good PM, 623?

How on earth did you come to this conclusion 623? He is a complete trumpet.

Saying 'everyone hates him' is an overly sweeping statement. Yes, Blair's poularity with the public has slumped, but it was barely a year ago he was re-elected. Thatcher had a far worse public image throughout her entire premiership, but she still won three elections.

I'm not sure putting Gordon Brown 'texts are like spun' in without an election is a good idea.  I think Labour will win the next election but it will be close.

John Major was made Prime Minister without a general election, and I was stunned (along with most of the nation) when he won the 1992 one.

Blair has, in many ways, been an excellent Prime Minister and I could list many, many improvements he has made. The invasion of Iraq was wicked and unnecessary but all-in-all I agree he is the best Prime Minister in my lifetime.
