Title: Wrapping disatser
Post by: on January 14, 2005, 08:11:33 am
Has anybody bought any small audio-visual items recently? They now put everything in these super hard plastic packs with no visible means of opening. The other day I bought a scart lead for my DVD player and I was forced to use a carving knife to cut the packaging open. I ended up slashing my wrists, not with the knife but with the sharp edge of the packaging. Audio-visual manufacturers - GIVE US A BREAK!!!

Yeah I have found that. I got a remote control that goes with my playstation and it was in this plastic shrink wrap pack thing. It was one of the hardest things to get into!

There's nothing worse in the whole world than a paper cut.
Although a spot on the end of the nose is disastrous too.

I have to review items like this for my job, which involves not only getting them out of the packaging, but getting them back in so they can be photographed - ARRRGGGHHH!!!

Packaging can be a bit of a nightmare. Having had a lot of kids around me at Christmas I can say this. The time it took to get the toys out of there boxes was ridiculous! The cabbage patch kid was the worst!

It is those bloody stupid plastic coated, metal tie wraps that they wind around toys in their packaging. They take hours to unwind and release the present.
