Title: Bath buns

Has anyone tried these?  I had one in Bristol some time ago.  Like a Chelsea bun but instead of icing, great big pieces of sugar.

I love them.

Chelsea buns do not have icing on them. they are bun ,ixture that has been whirled round and round with cinnamon between the folds and they have sugar on top.

I thourgh that meant  something eles

I never heard of a Bath cake

Strangely some people call these cinnamon Danish.

I thought a bath bun was another name for a sponge!

Ive never heard the term bath bun before.
