Sad - I have been under the weather since early may and it seems to be getting worse.

Happy - We started landscaping our garden three years ago but only half finished it. Today we got some men in to make a start on finishing the job.

Yeah - but the roads will be busier when schools are back, so we'll all have to get up at least 10 mins earlier to get to work on time

Kev is off sick at the moment though Bethypoos. Having lived in areas which get overrun by bored teenagers and screaming brats during the holidays, I can understand his opinion!

Oh - i can definitely see both sides. It will be nice to go into town on my day off and not have bloody brats and obnoxious teenagers hanging around. But...not all kids are like that - only the ones that hang around!!! (Before anyone has a go at me for stereotyping kids)

Yes but don't pensioners also hang around? I see them outside the Post Office on a Thursday in big groups blocking the pavement and squandering their pension money on TV stamps and electricity top-up cards.

I do wonder why they need to do their shopping at 8.30am and clog up all the buses when people are trying to get to work.

I also wonder why people queue at the post office (and banks?) WHY? Why not go later, or why not go off for a wander instead of just standing there? It's unusally pensioners and they've got ALL DAY to go to the post office. I don't get it

Why do they keep changing things like this and making everyone's lives more difficult?

Because the post office take a cut of anything they sell. If you buy direct you get to pay the same price, and the government keep the cut. Clever huh.

There's no need for pensioners to go to the post office. It's much safer for them to have their pensions paid into the bank.
