I saw that...... they were absolutely gross!
I am a bit on the queesy side about fingernails. It's quite bizare, I am generally quite robust (went through child birth with no pain relief, twice) but when I break a fingernail... oooo It makes me go all unnecessary. That and drying wet wood, for example a tea towel making contact with a wet wooden spoon .... getting goose bumbs just thinking about it!!

How's that?
I hope she doesn;t get thursd ( down there)
thrush?
Does the unnecessariness follow soon?
It's on it's way shortly!
She looks like a freak. Why would she want to grow them that long?
SM - I have a similar aversion to drying my wooden spoons with a tea towel!! Blades make me go all funny as well.
My finger nails are shameful. I admit to biting them, but they are not as bad as some I've seen. Any tips?
I bit my nails very low until I was 17 and I got nail extensions. In those days they were made from fibreglass not acrylic and they did not harm my nails. I was a waitress at the time and I spent almost all my wages on them! But it got me out of the habit of biting my nails for several reasons; the cost and the hardness being two of them.
Oldspice maybe if you had a manicure every couple of weeks then you would see how pretty your nails could be, and the money you spend on them might be an incentive to stop biting?
Good idea, plus you'll be helping a student with their course!
You could also try keeping a bottle of handcream or cuticle oil with you. Whenever you feel like biting, apply handcream instead and make sure you rub the cream in well around your nails. That will stimulate the nail growth as well as making them shiny
