Do you buy designer stuff or are you more of a 3 pairs for £5 from BHS type?
I have a couple of pairs of Calvin Kleins, but they're crap - a complete waste of money. If I'm going to treat myself I buy Sloggis, which are much better in terms of quality and value.

a Fiver!? I can't wait till Poundland start selling Y's.

I usually wait till I have farted my way through a pair of skiddies before investing again.

Sloggis do nice ladies knickers too Smurfy. I like M&S practical knickers for everyday wear (I have to be comfortable at work, I can't be raking my panties out of my bum crack in front of the class). If I am going out (or staying in) for a romantic evening I wear sexier stuff.
-
M and S do a nice range called Touch.

I shop at M&S and La Senza for underwear. I like pretty stuff but I don't pay over the top prices. La Senza knickers are always £12 for 5 pairs and they last ages as i never wear knickers under jeans.
-
There are several reasons why I could not go knickerless under jeans but if you can get away with it good luck to you!
Yes, La Senza is brilliant for reasonably priced, pretty knickers. They make nice Chrissie presents for close friends and family (sisters and the like).
