A passport is now £51. Can you remember how much your first ever passport was?

No but from October they will be £66! I remember when all four of us needed them at the same time it seemed to cost a fortune but this is ludicrous - there is the cost of the photos etc as well.

My first passport cost £1 - it was a visitor's passport, valid for one year and I used it to go to Switzerland exactly 35 years ago today!
