It's true, according to Einstein's special theory of relativity there is enough energy in a mars bar to blow up Europe. 

Here's how it works:  E = mc²

m = mass of the Mars bar = 56g

c= 186,000 x 186,000 = 34,596,000,000

E = 56 x 34,596,000,000

= 1,937,376,000,000 joules

Don't confuse these joules (potential energy) with the Kilo joules in the nutritional information. 

Now, 1 kilo joule will move one kilogram 1 metre.  So there is enough energy in a Mars bar to move 1 kilogram by 1,937,376,000 metres easily enough energy to blow up Europe.

I might know nothing about science but if I believed you could blow up Europe with a Mars bar I might be wondering why we spend millions developing weapons of mass destruction and why countries across the sea are willing to pay billions for them.

The point of my rather sill post, was theoretically harnessing the nergy in a Mars bar could be used as a massive bomb.  Of course this coud apply just as well to a tennis ball, a lump of coal etc. etc...  However, getting this energy is extremely difficult as it involves annihilating the atoms, which is not easy to do.

I am not an apologist for Israel 623, but you might want to consider why they bomb. I really wish they would stop killing innocents, nobody will win.
