Title: German wine range
Post by: kevvosa on July 17, 2006, 09:27:11 pm
I have a feeling our resident alcoholic Phyllis will be pleased with this:

"The Cellar Estates range of German wines is now
available from all Bestway and Batleys depots. The revamped range
includes the classic German styles as well as a Pinot Grigio and a
Medium Dry Riesling in an effort to “revive a rather tired category”,
says Andrea Hargrave, Bestway’s wine adviser."

"The range comprises Liebfraumilch, Hock, Piesporter, Pinot Grigio and
Riesling with 75cl bottles retailing at between £2.99 and £3.99. The
POR varies from 18.2% to 21.5%.

The wines are available, variously, in 1ltr and 1.5ltr bottles, too."

I always found German wines too heavy to drink but they are excellent for cooking.
