Title: Audio Commentaries
Post by: wjp666 on July 09, 2006, 08:53:42 pm

in response to smurfy's 'deleted scenes' post a couple of days ago, i was just wondering if anyone out there (apart from me) actually enjoys the 'audio commentary' part of a dvd?

do people REALLY watch the entire film with the cast/director/etc. talking over it for fun... or is it just my sad self?

I like the deleted scenes but not the commentary.

It depends. Some commentaries are very interesting and informative, but I can only stand the ones that dont play over the whole film.

I watched the commentary on episodes of Seinfeld recently as I was particularly interested in how that series was made. However, that was only after watching the episodes for myself and I'm not sure I could stomach a whole film with commentary.
