Do you prefer a warm summers night out or a cold winters night in?
-
Oh Loulou, what a choice!
-
Well what's your answer GC?
-
Well it all depends...
-
what on?
-
The time of year
-
Oh ok then, I'll take the summer nights out - bbq on the beach.
-
Warm summer nights out every time.
-
Both. If I go out I want warm, dry weather. If it's cold and wet I want to be cosy indoors!
I love warm, sunny evening walks in the countryside or along the sea front.
-
Both too. No one wants to have a cold and rainy night out do they!
-
That's why I couldn't decide but Loulou insisted!
-
Ok then someone else start some new threads.
-
Awwwwww. Didn't mean it nastily!
-
When it's summer and I'm too hot I long for cold, cosy nights in with hot chocolate
When it's winter and I'm cold and miserable, I long for hot summer nights
So - I probably prefer april showers and autumnal weather!
-
I prefer the winter as I like my fluffy socks, eeyore jamas and my water bottle. Sat in front of the fire with my cocoa I will be one happy bunny.
-
Mmmmph! Think I'm gonna cry.
-
With happiness?
-
what about autumn afternoons, neither in or out? (on the porch, lets say?)
-
Oh for that cocoa by the fire moment. Divine.
-
An open fire or gas?
-
I have a gas fire but an open fire would be cosier.
-
I have a lovely open fire at my country house. What a way to
spend an evening - in front of the fire with the cocoa. Loverly.
-
Where do you live Phyliss?
-
London mainly but also in The Cotswolds.
-
I used to have an open fire but it was a bugger to light in the mornings. But it's cosy once it gets going. You just have to keep tending to it though.
-
How about getting a wood burner?
-
Oh for that cocoa by the fire moment. Divine.
Who does that remind you of?

I had an open fire once and I could never light it. I would get my neighbour to do it for me but I could never keep it going.
-

I got wood last night. The missus was right pleased but I was damned if I was going to light it!
-
Chop it up .I say chop it up.
-
Well, the word chopper was mentioned...........
Strange that? I could have sworn that it was a plane I heard flying overheard!
-

Oh Smurfy, we think alike!
-
and me.
-
me too
-
I love lying in bed on an cold rainy night with the duvet tucked under my chin and the window open listening to the rain fall, it is very soothing to me
-
Same here, and then getting up and making a loverly hot chocolate. Bliss

-
Mmmmm Yummy or chocolate soup
-
Chocolate soup?!
-
Make a cadbury's instant hot choc but with 3 extra spoonfuls of powder so it's thick and chocolatey stir it up really fast and then add maltersers and eat them with a spoon.
the choccy on the maltesers starts melting and they go all gooey and lovely.
A bit sickly after two mugs LOL
Or try it with block chocolate if you don't like maltesers
