your washing line? Mine is turquoise.
-
Erm, green. I think!
-
and does it compliment your pegs?
-
I used to have a neighbour who colour co-ordinated every piece of washing with the pegs she hung it out with. If she couldn't find a good match (which wasn't often as she had a huge collection of multi-coloured pegs) she went for a nice contrast!
-
That's madness.

That sounds like someone with too much time on their hands! My washing line is green but I only know that because I thought it was white and looked out of the window to check!!
-
We've got three. Two green ones and a yellow one.

You see this is a test to see how good your memories are.
I know the colour of mine because I just put a new one up.

I live in an apartment - do you want to know what colour the tumble dryer is?
-
silver?
-
Boring old white I'm afraid. Silver would be so much better for my new colour scheme!

If it had a blue stripe down the middle!

I have silver fridge, washing machine and cooker.

Shame Tesco changes its Value range, you could have filled your cupboards with blue and white stripes!
-
My washing line is green, by the way. I have multicoloured pegs.

I fairly confidently said mine was green. Now I've just checked and it's bright blue! Must be our age...

Mine are boring old white... All 5 of them - with multi colour pegs too
-
Multi colour pegs are good. How do people peg their washing out with them wooden dolly pegs. They are a nightmare.
-
And they get wet and go all black.

Those pegs set my teeth on edge when they slide onto the clothes.
-
Old people probably still use them saying "i can't get the hang of those modern clippy things"
-
Did you used to make little hats and wigs for dolly pegs as child?
-
You mean I wasn't the only one?
-
Didn't everybody?
-
Did you have an old sock with two buttons sewn on for eyes ?
-
Did I have? I still have!
-
Aww my mam told me mine was a sheep.
