I know it's only May but I think this show has already given us the top bitchy moment of the year. If you didn't see it, James Hewitt and Rebecca Loos are one of the acts in the group category, and Sharon Osbourne - a big friend of the Beckhams - absolutely ripped into Rebecca. If I tell you she said 'next time you sing put your knickers on, it might warm up your voice', you'll get an idea of how friendly they were!
The thing is now that Sharon might well have won it for them - I can't stand them, but am tempted to vote for them just to watch round two!
The audience was hostile towards Rebecca Loos as well.
How did Gillian McKeith escape from Room 101 to appear on the show?
I watched this and cringed at Sharon Osbournes comments. I don't have any particular warm feelings for either Hewitt or Loos, but thought Sharon showed herself up to be totally judgemental.... and thick.
What ever happened between Loos and Beckham and Hewitt and Diana is really nowt to do with Sharon... after all, Loos may be an old slapper, but, Beckham was also an adult who choose to drop his pants and betray his wife... nobody forced him!!
It's very easy to be judgemental, without knowing all the facts, and everyone is entitled to opinions but Sharon came across as unprofessional and petty, she could have risen above the low bitchy comments been much classier.
Whoops! for a minute there I thought it was all real life!!
The X Factor is a talent show (although the early rounds don't feature much in the way of talent!) Anyone can enter and twelve acts get through to the finals, with one act voted off each week until the grand final. The acts are divided into three groups - 16-24 year olds, over 25s and groups - with four acts in each. There are three judges who each 'mentor' a group. The winning act gets a recording contract.
The Celebrity version showing at the mo works in much the same way, except a) the celebs didn't have to audition to qualify and are competiting for charity, not a contract; and b) the heats are nightly, not weekly.
All a bunch of has beens desperate for publicity.
I don't think Chris Moyles is a has been, although of course he wants publicity as he has a book out in the autumn.
Rebecca Loos described Sharon as 'vulgar' in the paper yesterday and said 'money can't buy class or elegance. I have both; it's the way I was brought up'.
Well I've always said there's nothing more classy, elegant and non-vulgar than sleeping with a married man, selling your story to the tabloids and then w**king off a pig on national TV.
I was surprised Chris Moyles went as I thought the 2 finalists would be the boys. I am not a great Lucy fan so I shall be supporting Matt!
Chris got FAR too cocky in the semi-final - I'm not at all surprised he went. He was though; his face was a picture!
Does Matt remind anyone else of a big turd when he dances?
