So will any old Jaffa Cake do you LouLou, or is it McVities or nowt? I know some people are fussy about their brands - I would never buy baked beans other than Heinz, for example.

I think I am ok with any Jaffa. The Asda's own are very nice.

I think McVities are the best, but for own brand, M & S are very good.

Veering slightly off-topic, in a survey I saw recently most people thought Heinz Baked Beans were the worst of the lot and were very surprised by the results.  Sainsburys came out best.

Funny you should write that....... I was a Heinz man until they changed the amount of salt and sugar in them, "Heinz Beanz".

Now I am an HP man as they have more taste (sugar, salt).

Does anyone remember when HP did a version of beans covered in HP sauce?

They tasted fantastic but what gut pain and trouser commotion they caused me! Just thought you might like to know that.

I like Tesco beans or Sainsbury's beans,   I always tip out the excess water and add my own extra tomato ketchup before cooking.

I add a bit of BBQ sauce to my beans.

BBQ sauce is a great invention. Add the jacket potatoe and the cheese and I think I am in heaven!

McVities are my face. M&S are nice but too small. Tesco ones are good.

V. low calories too. Part of the reason I love Jaffa Cakes is because my mom hates them - whenever she was dieting she would buy them so as not to deprive me and my sister of biscuits, but to make sure she wasn't tempted!
