Found at back of cupboard in kitchen.  Little thingy with cross at the end moves up and down after base is screwed on.

It looks like part of a food mixer. I think you would need the rest to make it worth anything.

What the diameter of the screw bit? I t looks to me like a device for screwing into the top of a drinks bottle to make it easier to pour.

I think it's some sort of corer, but not apple as the aperture is too small.

I've found out what it is.  It's for making square eggs. You put the hard boiled egg in the container and press the flat end of the plunger thing down and it makes the egg square.
