Title: Just a thought...
Post by: bethypoos on April 30, 2006, 09:49:44 pm

Hi all,

This probably couldn't work, but i know there are people all over the world that post here. Even in the UK certain things are available in one part of the country and not another.

Couldn't we start a kind of swap shop thing

Ebay is so overpriced nowadays. Just thought maybe we could send things people can't get hold of. Go back to good old trust and hope you get something in return?

Go on...tell me i'm being stupid

Might work. But from my experience most people here are in the UK.

One 52 year-old male, slightly overweight and a bit forgetful. Would like 30 year old stud in exchange.

At the time it great Saturday night TV, I watched it at home with my family and we usually got take-away food.

You know there was actually a Crinkly Bottom / Mr Blobby theme park? We took my sister there one summer (we were at Uni at the time) and the guy working on the admissions desk let us in free - he was on our course! The condition was that we weren't to tell anyone else on the course where he worked

I think I actually remember there being a theme park based around it. I used to think that he was broadcasting from a real house

I got tickets to be in the audience once, I didn't get gunked luckily

The theme park was at Cricket St Thomas (also the house used in To the Manor Born).

That's right, I remember the advert on the radio which always ended with "Cricket St Thomas, near Chard". Isn't it a wildlife park now?

More like a tough green but very nice when sauted with butter and black pepper.
