Realised today that i threw my tree away last xmas so went to buy a new one today(as one does in september). what's with blue xmas trees? i thought gold and silver ones weren't nice but a blue tree! So i got a green one.
Somehow i think i am going to get wrong for talking about xmas so soon
-
My work colleague has all but finished her 1st advent calendar of the year!
-
Anyone started xmas shopping yet?
-
I've told my girlfriend what I want for Christmas
-
and you're hoping she wants a toblerone. we know.
-
-
-
I've been tempted to do some Christmas shopping as there is some nice stuff in the shops. i actually did some of it last year in the sales - Lakeland had some wonderful china in their sale and so did Whittards.
-
Whittards tea varieties can be nice.
-
I am not familiar with Lakeland and Whittards.
-
They both sell wonderful household gadgets and kitchenware and also unusual eats and Whittards do coffee beans.
-
They are fantastic shops lou lou!
My boyfriends dad lives up in Newcastle lou lou and he has promised to take me to the metrocentre
-
Wyaye
-
Choc chick you will love the metrocentre, so many shops and loads of places to eat.Take your boyfriends cheque book.
-
boyfriend's
-
I'm really looking forward to it now lou lou. Are the prices good or are they just the same as normal? He has informed me he has a credit card....so it could be interesting.
Yes bounty a boyfrind, lil choc chick has got a man!
-
Choc chick the shops are brilliant. There's a big Debenhams opening October 4th and all the decorations will be getting put up soon so you will enjoy it and the shops are not expensive.
-
Fantastic, best make him take me up there before christmas then. The excuse being christmas shopping! Is it all undercover lou lou?
-
Yes choc chick all undercover. I drove past the other day and the new Debenhams store looks huge. I can't wait to go and do my xmas shopping.
-
Chock Chic, I was merely pointing out the correct use of an apostrophe in the genitive case
-
Oh sorry bounty...I see what you mean
Sounds fantastic loulou, really looking forward to it now!
-
DAMMIT! THIS MESSAGE HAS BEEN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST TOO LONG! I HAD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...
SO HERE IT IS - RESURRECTED! YAY! HAHAHAHARRRRRRR! (etc.)
(if you believe in the chaos theory, ive really f****d up the space/time continium now...)
-
OK, I admit I bought a couple of things last weekend that I have put away as Christmas presents
-
They have some really nice paper and tags at the warehouse over the road. I've tried to resist as it's ridiculously early, but I gave in and bought a pack of tags.
I did buy one Christmas present in July, but that was in case I didn't see it again.
-
there i was last year being clever and buying for everyone on ebay at discount prices... then said people came along and looked at my feedback, and knew exactly what they were all getting... AND they knew how cheap i was! hmm...
-
So we have heard.......
-
*best emoticon/smiley ever*
-
its NEVER too early to start christmas shopping
its one of my favorite past times lol
-
I kind of agree with it's never too early. If there are things in the
sale which are ideal, why wait? Christmas is expensive so if the cost
can be spread, I say go for it.
-
trying to let it slip agaion - I WILL NOT LET THIS MESSAGE DIE AGAIN! ONCE AGAIN, I RESURRECT! YAY!
-
All my christmas shopping is done and wrapped up.
-
exfoliating rub all round?
-
no . Biscuits.
-
I pity da fool!
-
Tins of biscuits are a good family present.
-
All form a circle, a Family Circle.
-
Nope. Cadburys and M&S
-
thats right, keep it going
-
I seen a black Xmas tree decorated with pink bobbles last year.
-
-
I saw a lot of hideous hot pink ones.
-
I like a green tree with red and gold decorations.
-
I like a green tree with silver and gold decoration.
-
Every year for the past 18yrs my friend has had a blue Xmas tree. When it needs renewing I will always try to get her to buy green but she always goes for blue then decorates it blue and silver. She has blue wallpaper in every room, blue carpets, blue three piece and a blue kitchen. I don't have anything blue.
-
Hmm, think she has a blue fetish. I like green as it is traditional. I
wouldn't say no to a white christmas tree but no other colour.
-
Hmm, think she has a blue fetish.
Hmm, really
-
-
When I was about 6 or 7 my parents had a silver tree that seemed to be made from aluminium foil.
Please tell me we weren't the only ones to have one of these.
-
They were made of tinsel Loulou but I know what you mean! Confession time here, I actually quite like a bit of tinsel on a Christmas tree even though it's considered totally naff. I'd draw the line at an entire tree made out of it but I definitely saw some of them creeping into the shops last year.
-
I like a bit of tinsel too

-
I haven't had tinsel on my tree the last few years but I have seen some nice stuff about.
-
The good quality stuff looks nice. Not the thin 3 for £1 stuff
-
Some people put them beads on the tree not tinsel
