Title: Eggs
Post by: loulou on April 11, 2006, 12:04:56 am
Has anyone else noticed how eggs don't look like they used to. I cracked some today and they were all watery so I binned them. The other day I had some and the white bit was all grey. I buy free range or the ones that say 'not from caged hens'. I'm put off eggs for life after today.

Lou I haven't noticed watery eggs. I get my eggs through work, there are several people here who keep hens and they bring eggs in. In the staff room we have pigeon holes and several people's have egg boxes as well as their mail!

No I haven't noticed this either. I buy my eggs from the supermarket. You could try the egg test with the glass of water.
