I think at that price it would stick in my throat.

To be honest I resent paying £2.49 in Subway!

Our Subway used to be good until they decided to weigh out the salad. Tight gits.

They weigh out the salad? Seriously?

Actually I think Subways vary hugely between shops. The two main ones in Nottingham are great (as Mr Hunter will testify!) but the one in Wolverhampton is a sh*theap. They don't even have the different types of bread.

The one here has the different breads but the staff tell me they were told they had to weigh out the salad because they were being too generous with it.

I do too mostly, but the odd Boots megadeal comes in useful.  Their wraps, yogurts and smoothies are excellent.

I'm still on soups for work lunches, the weather will have to get a bit warmer before I bring a cold lunch. My work does excellent filled baked potatoes for £2 which are good if I don't bring a lunch for whatever reason.

I bring a soup in a flask sometimes or a salad in the summer.
