Title: Easter Egg
Post by: chocolate chick on April 06, 2006, 05:39:45 pm
Which Easter Egg are we all hoping for this Easter?

I have seen a lovely Bendicks Gorgeous one, it has an egg, 2 boxes of Gorgeous and a cute teddy. I have told David I want that one but he claims to have already got mine. I doubt this as he is a last minute person so I will just have to see! the Cadburys Delight ones look nice as do the various Lindt ones I have seen.

Hoping for a Mars Delight or Turkish Delight - anything with delight in the name really! Momma is coming to visit tomorrow so will have to start dropping hints.

David brought me a Lindt Easter Bunny. Sadly he left it in the glove compartment, drove around for the day with it there and its now in the fridge chilling. It is now a bit of a weird shape

Have you seen the Lindt Easter Egg with the ickle bunnies? They are very cute!

I would like one of the M&S chocolate shapes like a bunny or a chick as opposed to an egg. Last year I had a Dougal from Thorntons

He will still taste lovely I'm sure...

No doubt about that. Where he picked it up you can see his finger imprints!

They used to sell these when I was a kid! They had thick, hard chocolate shells and were really scrummy.

I want one of those Milkybar chickens that lay mini eggs. Also want a Cadbury fruit and nut egg with fruit and nut in the shell. All those hollow eggs with chocolate bars at the side are a waste of money as the egg itself has nothing to do with the chocolate bars with it!

On Saturday I went to M&S, they had been advertising a Mr & Mrs Duck in the papers which looked cute. I asked an assistant but she said they'd sold out. All the stock they had left was all they would have; she said it was too close to Easter for them to be getting any more stock in

Gone are the days when shops bought too much stock of Easter eggs then after Easter marked the left overs down to half price!

I haven't really noticed except to see that most places offer a deal if you buy three and I always want to buy two!

4 Cadbury ones for £4 in Somerfield (and I needed 4) so I think I escaped very lightly this year!

Yes. I got David the same Lindt Lindor one this year as I did last year and it was £2 cheaper.

Asdas eggs are 3 for £3.50, they were 4 for £5
