Most of this research is very badly designed and there are vested interests to be found in the alternative healthcare market too! Theobromine may be a good treatment for cough, but how much chocolate would you have to eat in order to get a therapeutic dose?

"I think this is extremely dangerous for obese or overweight patients as over-consumption of anything (including chocolate) is unhealthy. Although if theobromine can be separated from the calorific content of the chocolate and sold as tablets it'd probably be really effective medicine.

a bit like when you have had a tooth pulled and they tell you to eat a crust. its to help the healing process and stop the flesh staying all soft.

In that case you would be well suited to have bounty's mother look after you if you have a sore throat. Whereas I would stay home and suck chocolate buttons.

Tried the Swiss Delice chocolate at the weekend and it really is something special.

I had the Tiramisu one and the Brownie one. They got my top marks thats for sure.

Tesco, Somerfield to name but 2 had them up here.

The Lait Aere is sensational.

It is a much, much, MUCH nicer version of an Aero.

Damn I've checked both and they don't seem to have reached the South yet - at least only a couple of varieties that I didn't fancy.  Haven't seen the Aere or the Choc Brownie.

I have seem them in Woolworths and Tesco. At the moment Tesco are doing the bars buy one get one free!

Its down the chocoalte aisle with the other bars. Not at the checkout.
