I started that thread and i apologise.
Smurfboy and Oldspice and others took exception to Lisa's view that the ban was unfair, and made a LOT of personal and unpleasant comments. Of course that was bound to illicit a response!
Of course, no one seems to care about being personally nasty to Lisa and disregards what smurfboy says.
It is very frustrating. I spoke to Smurfy on MSN and we agreed a truce. However, he was unable or unwilling to abide by said truce and the whole thing escalated again.
You have all shown a nasty and vicious side whilst also displaying a startling naivity and apparent blindness and refusal to see BOTH sides.
Sure one person sl*gs someone off - they respond etc etc. Not this wolfpack scenario we have witnessed here. It seems most out of character for most of you. I was surprised and disappointed by many of your posts and Oldspices posts.

You seem to be having trouble making your mind up. On one hand you and Lisa have gone to great pains to point out that you are individuals (see the 'Why' thread) and that anything you said to me does not represent Lisa's views. Yet now you claim a truce I called with you applies to her as well! Which is it Lemoneye?
You claim people have made personal remarks towards Lisa/Babygirl, but there were no personal remarks until the two of you began making allusions to my private life. I defended myself as I have a right to. I have also been on this forum for a long time so if people who like me stick up for me I am grateful to them, and will certainly not tell them not to defend me. That's their choice.
I have had to suffer abuse every day of my life ffor twenty-six years. I don't think I deserve to face more just because I disagree with smoking in public places. Lisa/Babygirl has resorted to the lowest common denominator on every occasion possible and you have joined in with her. Even if it was 'six of one, half a dozen of the other', at least I haven't got my friends to join the forum and send abusive private messages to Babygirl.
Lemoneye, Babygirl and KylieK have all deliberately personally abused me. I've had everything from suggestions that I am somehow jealous of Babygirl's life to insinuations that I deliberately leave chat or the forum when Lemoneye appears. Well here's a shocker - I don't hang around on this forum in the hope that he'll turn up. I have a life of my own and don't log in and out of this forum according to whether Lemoneye appears.
The bottom line is that these people have been treating me like sh*t and don't like the fact that I fought back. I will continue to do so as long as that cheap mouthy little slut keeps having a go at me.

I did not make ANY personal comments to Lisa. I agree with the ban and I expressed my views as forcefully as Lisa did. When she started making comments about "back doors" i responded accordingly. We all knew what she meant.

Well the entire forum has taken a HUGE swing to the left and the website is to be re named The Marxist Review
Apart from that we have all the usual nonsense and hipocrasy that you would expect.
Sadly Bounty Hunter has left so most of the genuinely entertaining threads have now dried up
This was completely unprovoked. It was purely and simply an attack on regular forum members who were discussing nothing in particular. It PRE-DATES the smoking debate that triggered further conflict.
This is the type of response we have had to put up with from lemoneye (most of it directed at my political sympathies) and this is why I have finally had enough and bit back (although I admit that some of my behaviour yesterday was childish and un-becoming).
I can find numerous other examples but I will leave it there for now. I apologise for some of the unnecessary and unkind remarks I made yesterday but I WILL NOT apologise for defending a Forum friend and I am not sorry that I have finally expressed feelings that have been bubbling beneath the surface for some time.
