Title: Sugar-free Mentos
Post by: kevvosa on March 21, 2006, 04:16:24 pm
Found some in Morrisons today - they taste lovely for a sugar free product. Will be buying some again. Ive heard they do mints too.

I'm wary of sugar free sweets. I read that there's a sweetener in them that has a laxative effect if you eat too much! scared me right off!

I avoid anything that says sugar free or diet.

I agree with you Lou.  I prefer to have a smaller amount of the conventional version.

I will look out these. What flavour are they?

In small quantities its fine. If you eat loads, the effect is not nice!

i agree with loulou. i think anything diet or sugar free is bound to be packed with nasty additives and sweeteners

There are mint flavour ones and fruit flavour ones choc chick. The fruit include orange flavour and cherry flavour which are lovely. Theyre soft and chewy like softfruits.
