Title: HORSE MILK
Post by: loulou on November 24, 2004, 11:58:30 pm
Did anyone see Richard and Judy tonight when they were showing horse milk. Richard was really enjoying it and said it tasted like semi skimmed with sugar in. Apparently it is on sale in supermarkets in Belgium and i was wondering if anyone has tried it yet.

I'm sure it will probably catch on as new fad but.....I can't see myself converting for while.

Remember a few years ago they said everyone would be eating ostrich? When did you last have one on a bap?

I wouldn't recommend Ostrich meat. It's okay, very healthy, apparently.

I've also eaten a Witchetty Grub as a dare!

It was cooked (this was at an Aboriginal Centre), so it looked a bit like scrambled eggs....kind of.

However, tasted nothing like them.

I do not recommend Witchetty Grubs.

My dad has eaten alligator - he reckons it tastes like chicken. I don't eat meat, but it seems to me every weird animal food tastes 'like chicken' from what people say?

Here's a thought - if it catches on, will we be saying goodbye Cadbury's Dairy Milk, hello Cadbury's Horse Milk?

I have eaten alligator; it tastes inevitably of chicken, but with the texture of tender lamb.  It's very good.

I said to the waiter, 'Alligator please, and make it snappy'

I said to the waiter have you got frogs legs. He said yes. I said hop over there and get me steak and chips.

I said to the waiter, 'this coffee tastes like soil'.  He said, 'that's because it's just ben ground'.
