Meal tonight with Mum and girlfriend then staying the night with Susan.  Bit of birdwatching in the morning then back home to write some more disgusting stories (oldspice) or erotica (Bounty).

I see you like to correct and continually dig at Babygirl... I wonder why this is? I sincerely hope you are not suffering with some kind of jealousy of her...

I also note you rarely correct or attempt to correct some of the posts that have a greater number of grammatical errors. Again, I wonder why this is?

Title: Weekend
Post by: smurfboy on March 20, 2006, 01:55:32 pm
What exactly would I have to be jealous of? Also I was happy to let things slide until a completely unnecessary dig at me on the 'Seeing Red' thread.
Title: Weekend
Post by: babygirl on March 20, 2006, 02:05:45 pm

If you were happy to let things slide you would not of made the dig at me about claiming to like to read but only reading biographies! And you would not of had a dig about my error about the ann summers party!

Title: Weekend
Post by: smurfboy on March 20, 2006, 02:15:43 pm

If you used your brain you would remember you made the dig on the Seeing Red thread BEFORE I made the biographies post. Also, did it never occur to you that maybe that is just something that genuinely annoys me? That not everything is about you?

I didn't see any comments about reading biographies. I read autobiographies mainly and I don't see what is wrong with that.

What a bargain! I like it when they do the No7 Vouchers. I will try and get a picture of the top up tonight so you and Lou can see it.

I quite like autobiographies. I find they tend to be in hardback so I read these at home and read chick lits on the train. Plus its harder to get them confused!

Reading Roy Keans Autobiography next, just finished Jordans (she has no shame!)

The problem with the £5 No7 voucher is that there is nothing in the No7 range costing £5 or less. At least when they do the 'facial skincare' vouchers there are lots of things to choose from!

I'd like to know what you thought was a dig at you?

If it was the post about people treating others differently because thats the only post i made other than about the feet! Then that was NOT a dig at you we get alot of people like that around our area and it is something that annoys me, so smurfy i think you need to stop thinking everything is about you! Or is it guilt?

I have been very polite to everyone maybe i am very opinionated but doesn't everybody have the right to be?

I'm not quite sure why you and a few others have to keep getting your snide digs in and thinking i wont notice?

That's really not nice, are forums not supposed to be nice places?

And everyone was very pleasent until the smoking thread but because i am the only smoker and had a different opinion from you all it's now turned into snide remarks or nasty comments?

Why? Please feel free to explain!

And why not?
Title: Weekend
Post by: smurfboy on March 20, 2006, 07:02:05 pm

Because

a) you repeated the same arguments again and again in the smoking thread and got stroppy when anyone pointed out the obvious flaws in them;

b) when you decided you didn't like being argued with, you and your boyfriend resorted to insinuations about my private life.

Title: Weekend
Post by: babygirl on March 20, 2006, 07:12:27 pm

Ok....

a) I repeated myself  a COUPLE of times just like others did but i'm sure you never pulled them up because you wasn't accepting my opinion!! And i did not get stropy!! If you knew me you would know i am not a stropy person!! There were flaws in everyones OPINIONS but whats the point in pointing them out as it is only an opinion! Thats a really petty reason to dislike somone!

b)Me and my boyfriend diddnt make one single comment about your private life its just you and others looking into a post far to much...I aint that shallow or nasty but i see you lot have made your minds up about me and that is fine by me everyone is entitled to there own opinion!!

Title: Weekend
Post by: smurfboy on March 20, 2006, 07:16:41 pm
I don't know who 'you lot' refers to but as you say, everyone has a right to their own opinion, so there's no need to knock anyone else because of what I've said. I speak for myself and no one else.
Title: Weekend
Post by: babygirl on March 20, 2006, 07:20:40 pm
Yes i know but when i refer to you and others i am plain and simply saying that it is clearly not just you who has a problem with me!

Wont find much of that in the bible eh?

Actually, i apologise... I should not (indeed neither should you) make comment on one anothers private lives. The fact is "The Chocolate Review" is not a major part of our lives and does not warrant much discussion time.

Oh, so it's down to what's in the Bible now is it? Well I'm an atheist so I'm afraid quoting the 'good book' at me isn't going to do much good.

Babygirl asked why I had made what she perceived as digs at her. I explained, just as she asked me to. If she doesn't care whether I like her or not that's fine, but don't criticise me for providing an explanation she herself asked for.

If you had read it properly then you would have seen that i made a comment as to how upset she would be. That does not sound like a criticism to me, merely a comment.

Title: Weekend
Post by: smurfboy on March 20, 2006, 08:51:36 pm
Well I thought it was sarcasm. Maybe I was wrong. There is no need for anybody to be upset, some people just don't get along. It doesn't make one of them a better or worse person than the other, it's just a fact of life.

Sometimes I meet someone and I think I dislike them then they grow on me. I know it's a bad thing but I always decide if I like someone within minutes of meeting them. Many times I have been proven wrong.

It's true that we all know very little about each other. Some posters even make a point of saying they are very different in 'real life'. It's a fair point.

Title: Weekend

I myself like to give people a chance if after a few weeks/months they still haven't grown on me then i can say i dislike them maybe because they have taken a disliking to me or if they are two faced so on and so fourth but i would not say i dislike someone because they have a difference of opinion!!

Took your sweet time with yet another weak comeback.

Did you think of this last one all by yourself or did one of the "Womens League" private message it to you?

I do not believe in religion particularly.

AGAIN you persist in commenting on private lives - i have already addressed and apologised this but as usual you refuse to let it go. And on the subject, religious or not i think it is probably fairly unholy to undergo ritual brutalisation and to allow yourself to be brutalised.

I don't need anyone to come up with 'comebacks' for me. As for 'taking my sweet time' - I do have other things to think about other than you, as hard as it may seem to believe.

And as for complaining about ME commenting on private lives? The pot calls the kettle black yet again...
