Instructions![]() Preheat oven to temperature 350°F. Grease 1 deep 2/5 inch square cake pan. Cover base with foil and grease foil. Place first 3 ingredients in a small bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in sifted flour and nuts. Divide mixture into 2 bowls. Stir dark chocolate into 1 bowl and spread into prepared pan. Stir white chocolate into remaining bowl and spread over dark chocolate mixture. Bake about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Combine jam and water in a small saucepan. Stir over heat until jam is melted. Add cornflour mixture and stir over high heat until sauce boils and thickens. Turn brownie onto plate. Serve hot with sauce. Dust with sifted icing sugar, if desired. |
