I have got NewDotNet and can't get rid of it.  I've tried all the above and the instructions given supposedly by NewDotNet but it's still there.  Some of the instructions tell you not to use other instructions as if you follow them you will permanently lose your internet connection, so I'm wary of doing anything at all.

aslo try downloading Spybot S&D adn trying that cheaker

 

Plus I got this for anothe rforum I visit ( theme tunes) thsi is the advise I got

I think your best bet - just in case that's not all that's lurking - would be to go here:
http://help.lockergnome.com/ and sign up. Obtain a copy of Hijackthis (from http://help.lockergnome.com/index.php?showtopic=31373), post a log in the Problem Solvers, Hijackthis logs forum and ask for their scrutiny and help. These people are extremely good and will give you step by step instructions for removal.

Don't be tempted to remove things with Hijackthis without getting advice - this is an extremely powerful tool which can render your computer inoperable if you remove the wrong things!

Thanks 623.  I already have Spybot which keeps picking up this spyware but is unable to block it.

Any good anti-virus software should deal with spyware.  I have AVG and that sorts out most of these things.

A good tool for blocking a lot of malicious browser hackers is Spywareblaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/ - I know this works with IE and Firefox, but not sure about other browsers.

but I stil think yo shoudl do a rpert and speak tpo some computer fourms
