i've been pondering how to establish seniority on this site for a while, and i think i've come up with a foolproof way.
EVERYBODY LIST YOUR 'EBAY' FEEDBACK SCORE AND SEE WHO'S GOT THE HIGHEST!...
i'll start - 205
-
NEVR DONIT I! Never used ebay!
-
ah, mate - you don't know what you're missing.
-
83 - and 100% positive!
But surely post counts is the very easy way to establish seniority, if such establishment is needed...
-
ah, but such a thing could be 'faked' by repeated abuse of the word association games...
(or something... look, i'm grasping at straws here, ok?!)
forgot to add - 100%+ too.
-
P.S. Whichever system we used Lou would come out on top - her eBay feedback is even higher than her post count!
-
i'm intrigued.
-
14968 99.7 %
Am I the winner?

My ebay feedback is 109 and 100% positive. I only buy I don't sell.
When did you all join ebay? I joined 10 April 2001.
-
My ebay rating is a complex number 2zi where 2 is a coeficient, z is the modulus and i is the square root of -1.bounty hunter38784.3973958333

i'm afraid you lose points for the 99.7%.... so let me work that out. (clicking of calculator) - that gives you a score of 7. sorry, no winner.

How is it possible to abuse the WA games?

i presume these are tears of defeat?
-
That's your post you copied not mine.
-
er, yes... still applies.
-
I believe I won.
-
sorry, but your lack of 100% positive feedback means you lose 14961 points, leaving you with 7.
sorry!
-
I blame all those foreigners and non paying bidders for this.
-
c**ts.
-
You are right smurfy. They are all clots.
-
i only ever leave negative feedback if theyve left me positive already. and what is it with americans either A. not understanding the exchange rate, or B. just refusing to pay? f**kers...
-
I have never left anyone negative feedback unless they have left neg for me first. If anyone leaves me a neutral I leave them a negative. That's my cruel streak.
-
hehe. eviiiiiil...
with feedback that high, are you a pro trader on ebay? *(or just a compulsive buyer?)*
-
Definitely a pro. I very rarely buy.
-
any specific line of stuff you sell? just curious!
-
Anything I get my mitts on.
-
ah. you come across as the sort of person to make her own stuff (jewellery, soft furnishings... that kinda thing.)
-
You think I'm creative? No way. I only sell stuff I buy in.
-
ah.
-
Still laughing at the thought of Loulou knocking up handmade jewellery......if only they knew!

-
I used to only buy on eBay but now I hardly ever do; I'm strictly a seller. 10p listing day today, yay!
-
How much does it actually cost to sell an item through ebay? There is a listing fee, presumably a fee for adding a picture. And do eBay take a percentage? I just can't see how you make any money from selling an item for a few quid.
-
The listing fee varies according to your starting price, as does the final value fee. The first picture is free but you're charged a fee to use the gallery. The trick is to bump up your postage charges - eBay don't take anything from that.
-
I know many people who make a full weeks wage from selling on ebay. Get it in cheap and sell it high.
